Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform calibration and functional testing of ESD control equipment including wrist straps foot straps ESD mats ionizers ESD monitors and other sensitive ESD devices used in semiconductor industry.
- Maintain and calibrate precision measuring instruments ensuring traceability to NIST or equivalent standards.
- Conduct routine inspections and audits of ESD protected areas (EPAs) to ensure compliance with semiconductor industry requirements.
- Document calibration data accurately and update the calibration database according to semiconductor quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001)
- Collaborate with engineers quality and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve ESD-related issues promptly.
- Support ESD awareness training programs to promote best practices among semiconductor industry personnel.
- Ensure strict adherence to cleanroom protocols and safety regulations while performing calibration tasks.
Qualifications:
- BS Engineering graduate or Technological courses graduate preferably in the field of Electronics and /or Mechanical associate degree or technical certification in electronics metrology or related field preferred.
- Minimum 4 years experience in calibration and ESD control within a semiconductor manufacturing environment preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ANSI/ESD S20.20 SEMI standards and cleanroom practices.
- Experience using calibration software and managing calibration documentation in a regulated environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in handling sensitive equipment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Work Environment:
- Semiconductor fab cleanroom environment requiring compliance with gowning and safety protocols.
- Use of precision calibration tools and test equipment.
- Standing and walking for extended periods; occasional lifting of calibration equipment.
