About the role

Are you passionate about leading and supporting information management Do you enjoy empowering and educating others about records and information management This is the role for you.

We are seeking an experienced Information Manager to join our Corporate Services team and lead the development of the Law Societys records and information programme. This is a hands-on role tasked with leading and supporting the development a framework of best-practice policies principles and processes for information management across the Law Society.

The Information Manager will collaborate with all departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements facilitate efficient access to information and mitigate risks.

This is a permanent full-time role based in our National Office in Te Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington).

Our ideal applicant will have:

  • 5 Years in an Information Management leadership or sole charge role.
  • Experience with designing policies processes and controls for information and data governance and lifecycle management including digital and physical information assets.
  • A good working knowledge of information management within the SharePoint/M365 environment.
  • Experience with providing support and guidance to staff on information management policies and procedures.
  • The ability to produce high-quality written documentation.
  • Experience implementing and embedding change.
