An established contractor is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to oversee and lead industrial electrical projects. The Superintendent will be responsible for supervising field personnel coordinating with project managers and ensuring safe efficient and timely project completion.
Supervise and lead a crew of 1015 electricians on industrial job sites.
Review and interpret project plans layouts and specifications.
Identify and communicate potential conflicts in construction progress and propose solutions.
Maintain project schedules by monitoring progress adjusting resources and coordinating activities.
Generate weekly and monthly material requests to ensure timely availability.
Attend job site meetings with general contractors as needed.
Maintain accurate daily logs reports and documentation (digital reporting required).
Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a clean organized job site.
Enforce and model safe work practices at all times.
Minimum 2 years of industrial electrical supervision experience.
Strong industrial electrical background with thorough knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
Proven ability to lead and manage field personnel effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills with excellent communication (written and verbal).
Ability to operate and maintain a specialized electrical service vehicle.
Proficiency with digital documentation tools (tablet/computer use).
Strong organizational skills to manage project-specific information and deadlines.
Professional demeanor with the ability to represent the company on-site.
Ability to bend stoop squat crawl climb kneel balance push pull and reach overhead.
Lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds regularly (occasionally up to 100 pounds).
Perform overhead work and be on feet throughout the workday.
Work outdoors in all weather conditions (heat cold rain wind) while wearing required PPE.
Navigate active construction sites including use of OSHA-approved ladders or stairs under construction.
Secure and transport tools and materials as needed.
Full Time
