About us
Abbott Weesp is an important location within the Abbott Established Pharmaceuticals Division (EPD). In state-of-the-art production facilities qualified employees produce raw materials (APIs) for medicines such as laxatives hormones and the flu vaccine.
For our pharmaceutical manufacturing site at Weesp were looking for a:
(Senior) Safety Specialist
What will you do
Implement and monitor compliance with regulations and Abbott Technical EHS Standards
Supporting ISO 45001 Management System activities
Assessing all technical projects to verify compliance with safety elements and accident prevention capabilities
Execute risk assessments (process safety machine security fall protection chemical risks etc.);
Conducting inspections internal audits and safety rounds to monitor safety performance on site
Leading incident investigations and preparing reports
What kind of knowledge and experience do you bring
HBO/WO level Chemical Technology or of comparable technical nature
Preferably work experience in a similar position and work experience in a production environment
You speak and write the Dutch language fluently or are willing to learn and speak-write English
