Job Description
We are seeking a Vice President to join our Financial Institutions Group within Global Corporate Banking. This role involves working with a high-performing team that covers some of the most important client relationships in the organization spanning sectors such as Banking Insurance Broker Dealers and Leasing companies. You will manage relationships with large financial institutions worldwide helping clients achieve their goals in financing risk management capital and liquidity management and investments. Our clients benefit from dedicated coverage by experienced FI bankers who leverage JPMorgan Chases extensive product platform and global presence in over 60 countries.
Job Responsibilities:
- Drive new business development and manage client relationships.
- Develop strategic business plans for clients and maintain existing relationships.
- Conduct comprehensive client analyses to identify needs that can be addressed with JPMorgans wide range of banking products including equity and debt capital markets risk management treasury and securities services markets and asset management.
- Collaborate with line of business partners including Debt Capital Markets Markets Payments Investor Services Asset Management and Investment Bank Client Executives to enhance client coverage.
- Manage a portfolio of products including traditional credit products debt treasury services ABS/Conduit investor services asset management FX derivatives commodities and flow sales and trading products.
- Lead account planning processes focusing on the strategic use of credit capital and aligning with firm-wide priorities.
- Travel as required to meet with clients.
Required Qualifications Capabilities and Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Business Finance Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience.
- Proven ability to lead collaboration across multiple lines of business.
- Strong skills in multi-tasking and problem-solving.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
- Self-motivated dependable and intelligent.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate finance credit and other corporate and investment banking products.
Preferred Experience Qualifications Capabilities and Skills:
- Established network and experience in covering FI and NBFI sectors.
- Experience selling or working with a broad range of corporate banking products.
- Experience in a product or functional area relevant to the role.
