We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test Engineer to join our team and take ownership of testing and validating 800ZR Optical Modules. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in optical module testing automation and quality assurance ensuring that our products meet high-performance and reliability standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute test plans test cases and test automation for 800ZR optical modules.
Perform functional and performance testing on coherent optical transceivers.
Utilize high-speed test equipment such as optical spectrum analyzers bit error rate testers (BERT) oscilloscopes and optical power meters.
Collaborate with R&D hardware and firmware teams to troubleshoot and resolve product issues.
Automate test procedures using scripting languages such as Python MATLAB or LabVIEW.
Analyze test data generate reports and provide feedback for design improvements.
Ensure compliance with industry standards such as OIF IEEE ITU-T and Telcordia.
Work closely with manufacturing teams to support production testing and validation.
Drive continuous improvements in test methodologies efficiency and accuracy.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Optical Engineering Telecommunications or a related field.
Strong understanding of DWDM coherent optics DSP FEC and high-speed optical communications.
Proficiency in Python MATLAB or other scripting languages for test automation.
Familiarity with 800ZR/ZR standards and industry specifications.
Strong problem-solving analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
