Salary Range: $68000.00 per year depending on experience.
Schedule: This role requires night and weekend availability
Who we Are
Railserve is a leading provider of in-plant rail switching transloading and material handling services operating at over 75 locations in North America. We use our own locomotives and employees to safely move railcars within industrial manufacturing and production plants. But were not just rail car movers; we also provide a number of other services which include: rail car loading rail car unloading track maintenance inspection or repair and many others.

Key Responsibilities
Promote and enforce safety policies and EH&S compliance
Train and supervise crew members; maintain high morale and accountability
Support operations including railcar switching transloading equipment maintenance and site logistics
Monitor and manage cost control measures including payroll fuel and maintenance
Assist in developing schedules to ensure proper crew mix and experience
Maintain operational records and submit required reports to internal and customer stakeholders
Serve as a backup to the Site Leader as needed
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supports leadership of a team ranging from 12 to 40 employees
Assists with hiring training performance reviews and day-to-day team management
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
1 years of rail operations and supervisory experience preferred
Candidates with backgrounds in logistics military leadership industrial management or field operations are highly encouraged to apply
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel)
Strong interpersonal planning and problem-solving skills
Must be able to work nights and weekends as needed
Work Environment & Physical Demands
Outdoor work environment with exposure to weather and moving equipment
Frequent walking climbing stooping and lifting of heavy materials
Must meet visual and hearing requirements necessary for rail operations
