Were looking for an experienced Country Finance Leader to lead our New Zealand and Fiji Finance Team and partner closely with senior leadership to deliver strategic financial outcomes across the region.
Reporting to the Asia Pacific CFO with a matrix reporting line to the New Zealand Pacific General Manager you will play a pivotal role in enabling commercial decision-making and influencing strategic direction in accordance with GHDs strategic and financial performance objectives.
As a key member of the New Zealand Pacific Leadership Team you will drive and influence the commercial outcomes of a matrix organisation with a solution mindset to enable and support bold growth global collaboration and high-performance outcomes.

Working with an energetic and high performing team this position offers a variety of work and will see you:
- Provide comprehensive oversight of the New Zealand Pacific region performance and opportunities ensuring alignment with Enterprise goals and unlocking opportunities for growth.
- Deliver actionable insights and recommendations that shape business strategy proactively highlighting key financial trends and opportunities both internally and externally.
- Maintain and build strong engagement with multiple stakeholders bringing your experience in leading behavioural change and lifting organisational capability.
- Collaborate across the business to support sound commercial decision-making and lead innovative recommendations to enable cost savings and operational efficiencies
- Lead Profit & Loss reviews and variance reporting to identify discrepancies analyse causes and drive corrective actions.
- Lead annual budgets to ensure they are in line with the Enterprise objectives and goals.
- Develop and mentor direct team members to provide commercially focused financial solutions and advice.
What you will bring to the team:
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting Finance or Commerce.
- Pursuing or completed CPA/CA qualification (or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- 10 years experience in a senior finance partnering or similar role.
- Proven ability to influence manage and prioritise across diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in delivering commercial outcomes that drive growth.
- Experience in influencing leading and developing teams.
Key to being successful in this role is a proven ability to develop trust and credibility to lead across groups and influence decision makers where there is no direct reporting relationship. If you thrive in this area this may be the role for you.
This role can be located in Auckland Wellington or Christchurch.
