Join our Southland Sealing Crew as a Tractor Broom Operator and put your skills in small tractors chip sealing roading traffic management and class 2 truck driving to use. Youll work with a supportive team on various projects across the region helping to keep operations safe and efficient. This role offers the chance to grow your abilities and make a real impact in our community.
In addition to the above you will:
- Operate heavy machinery including rollers loaders
- Working out and about around Southland
- Work on various projects for both internal and external customers

Were looking for someone with:
- Class 2 Drivers Licence essential with the addition of WTR indorsement (WTR not essential)
- Tractor operating experience/previous work experience in a similar role
- A background in either Chipsealing Asphalt Paving or Construction preferable
- Mechanical aptitude basic computer literacy and methodical approach to work
- An ownership towards maintenance and care of machinery
- Customer focus and good communication skills
- Punctual timekeeping and a great attitude
- Physically fit and active
