Job Description:
The LAN Central Forecaster position is responsible for providing quality information to support effective decision-making ensuring value creation and adherence to the financial commitments of MW LAN (Growth % MAC Earnings and Cash). This role involves forecasting financial statements for both short and long-term periods incorporating risks and opportunities into the S&OP process.
What are we looking for
- Bachelor or higher degrees in Accounting Finance or MBA
- Minimum 4 years experience with solid experience in financial management reporting and forecasting.
- Strong analysis skill detail oriented and strong in Excel.
- Accounting background is a plus.
What will be your key responsibilities
- Lead the annual Operating Plan for a segment. Manage the coordination planning and communication of activities coordinate all inputs and ensure timely submission of written and electronic reporting establish and communicate calendar of events.
- Consolidate analyze and integrate financial scenarios for MW LAN providing support and oversight for overheads and profitability projects.
- Manage the coordination planning and communication of the annual Operating Plan for the segment ensuring timely submission of written and electronic reporting.
- Oversee market financial shaping and forecasting processes identifying business issues and opportunities and making recommendations for future actions.
- Design and issue transparent financial reporting that enables the organization to understand its performance.
- Provide an independent view of risks related to the P&L and cash flow to senior leaders.
- Ensure internal control over operations and accounting records for MW LAN.
- Validate actual figures against the ideal shape of brands and channels for total LAN.
- Create scenarios and forecasts for short and long-term periods with limited information and certainty.
- Prioritize tasks and responsibilities while planning based on the principles of Financial Shaping when information is lacking.
- Deliver timely databases with financial projections presentations for key meetings and analysis of variances between actuals and plans.
