Salary:31500 per annum plus Company Van.
Location:Manchester.
Contract:Permanent 35 hours per week.

Join Our Technology Team as an IT Field Engineer!
Are you enthusiastic technically skilled and ready to make a difference We are looking for an IT Field Engineer to join our dynamic Technology team. If you have great technical ability a lateral thinker able to flex and adapt to various situations and want to be part of a successful and energetic team we would love to hear from you!
How youll help to create brighter futures
Representing a professional front facing service to Action for Children staff across the Manchester area.
Responsible for attending sites providing technically focused support and solutions.
Oversee the commissioning and de-commissioning of sites providing technical input and resource.
Support the Service Desk in providing remote support when not out in the field.
Maintain professional development through research of recent and relevant developments in Technology.
Apply continuous improvements to service and processes.
Provide direction and guidance to less experienced IT staff.
Develop strong relationships with remote service users and being the Ambassador for the Action for Children IT department.
Lets talk about you
Exceptional customer service skills with expertise in troubleshooting diagnosing and solving complex computer related problems.
Familiar with the use of Help Desk/ticketing systems.
Experience of working in a technical field-based role.
Strong working knowledge of computer hardware and networks with expertise in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Proficient technical knowledge of MS-Windows operating system Office 365 Azure and Active Directory.
Experience in the provisioning and troubleshooting of Wi-Fi and basic networking Cat5/6 cabling etc.
Experience in working in care-setting (desirable but not essential).
Foundation Qualification in ITIL (or equivalent experience).
Qualifications and/or experience of other Standards associated with IT best practice such as ISO27001 the Data Protection Act 2018 and GDPR.
UK Driving Licence is essential for this role.
