Job Description
Position Summary
Apply primer and paint to parts as specified.
Essential Job Functions
- Spray a variety of parts with primer and finish paint as specified on order under limited supervision
- Read blueprints to determine painting specifications
- Clean and mask parts to be painted
- Use brush to touch up any imperfections
- Mix paint as required to match specific colors required to process specifications
- Clean all equipment at the end of the day
- Operate all processes at OSHA required standards
- Monitor and track daily weekly and monthly usage of VOC items (e.g. paint thinner gun cleaner etc.)
- Other duties as directed
Education/License Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
Experience Requirements
- Minimum two (2) years experience painting machined parts using two-part paint
Competencies
- Must be able to work independently and follow instructions precisely
