Position Summary
JM Huber is seeking an Automated Packaging Operator at Active Minerals International a Kaolin Clay production facility in Aiken SC.
Automated Packaging Operator: This position will be responsible for operating the Automatic Bagger in a safe and efficient manner.

Entry Rate: $20.03
2nd Shift: 2pm - 10pm M-F weekends as required
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate and run the automatic bagger machine make adjustments if necessary.
- Perform the safe and efficient operation of equipment.
- Identify troubleshoot and repair problems.
- Perform minor maintenance to equipment.
- Complete all paperwork relating to maintenance downtime and orders in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain proper bag weights feed and change bags.
- Conduct pre-shift inspection and preventative maintenance of equipment.
- Maintain clean work area.
- Adhere to all QMS procedures and documentation as applicable to position and department and as required by ISO.
Specialized/Technical Knowledge or Required Skills
- High School graduate or GED.
- Effective communication both written and verbal.
- Strong moral and ethical standards.
- Must be able to work individually and in a team atmosphere.
- Must be able to operate forklift.
- General working knowledge of MSHA Safety requirements
Physical Requirements
Work is performed in a production environment. Position requires lifting pulling pushing and carrying up to 55 lbs. on a regular basis. Able to sit stand walk bend stoop and climb up to 70 feet. Able to operate hand and foot controls simultaneously. Manual dexterity required for operation of hand controls and/or computer keyboard. Vision and a sense of hearing are also required.

In addition to base compensation individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and profit-sharing payout.
