The role ensures accurate layout documentation sequencing and technical compliance during high-volume fast-track construction involving extensive concrete and heavy civil elements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform survey layout elevations and dimensional checks for formwork embeds anchor bolts and rebar placement.
- Review shop drawings rebar details and post-tensioning layouts to ensure conformance with design.
- Track pour cycles coordinate logistics for ready-mix deliveries and verify compliance with mix designs and curing protocols.
- Monitor field testing (slump air temperature cylinders) and confirm corrective actions for non-conforming results.
- Maintain detailed concrete pour logs including placement sequence finish type weather impacts and testing results.
- Draft RFIs and coordinate with design teams to resolve field issues like rebar congestion embed conflicts or formwork tolerances.
- Assist in planning mass pours including sequencing of trucks pump placement finishing crews and curing strategies.
- Support QA/QC through daily inspections of reinforcement formwork and post-tension stressing documentation.
- Update as-built drawings to reflect rebar PT tendon sleeve and embed changes.
- Collaborate with testing labs suppliers and subcontractors to ensure quality and schedule alignment.
