Job Title: Senior Manufacturing / Industrial Engineer
Location: Griffin GA Onsite
Sr. Manufacturing / Industrial Engineer to support new capital introduction and process improvement initiatives in our Griffin facility. This role will focus on manufacturing process planning virtual builds and data-driven analysis to optimize production efficiency quality and safety. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Teamcenter Vis Mock Up 3D Factory planning Power BI and other digital manufacturing tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead New Capital Introduction (NPI/NCI) projects including planning installation and validation of new manufacturing equipment and processes.
- Develop and implement manufacturing process plans ensuring alignment with safety quality and production standards.
- Utilize 3D Factory and Teamcenter Vis Mock Up tools to support virtual build simulations process validation and layout optimization.
- Create visual aids and work instructions to support assembly operations and operator training.
- Conduct torque audits and other quality checks to ensure compliance with engineering and production standards.
- Use Power BI and data analytics to track performance metrics identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with design engineering quality and production teams to optimize manufacturability and assembly processes.
- Support cost-reduction cycle-time reduction and safety improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Manufacturing Engineering Industrial Engineering Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering within a production environment.
- Strong background in process planning capital equipment introduction and production support.
- Hands-on experience with Teamcenter Vis Mock Up 3D factory tools or similar virtual manufacturing platforms.
- Proficiency in Power BI or other data visualization/analytics software.
- Knowledge of torque auditing processes and quality systems.
- Strong communication teamwork and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with virtual builds digital twins or Industry 4.0 technologies.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Prior experience in heavy equipment or automotive manufacturing industries.
