Location: Richmond VA (23220)
Client: State of Virginia
Duration: 12 MonthsJob Description:
We are seeking an experienced eForms/WebUpload Business System Analyst to support business process design and system delivery. This role involves liaising between development business and testing teams to define software and system requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills be adept at gathering and analyzing data and have a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct interviews with business users to gather and define business and technology requirements.
- Prepare complex General System Design documents with clear business rules and specifications.
- Collaborate with development and testing teams to ensure comprehensive understanding of business requirements.
- Analyze and document solutions to complex business problems ensuring timely completion of assignments.
- Utilize SQL for data analysis ensuring proper documentation and version control using tools like TFS.
Required Skills:
- Prior Business Analyst experience (3 years)
- Excellent problem-solving skills (3 years)
- Proficient in MS Word Excel and PowerPoint (3 years)
- Experience developing functional documentation and troubleshooting guides (3 years)
- Prior tax experience (highly desired 3 years)
