This role focuses on developing new market opportunities and strengthening relationships with established customers to drive sales growth and ensure customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical aptitude outstanding communication skills and a proactive approach to sales and relationship management.
Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and engage prospective customers to generate new business opportunities in the midstream oil & gas market.
Reconnect with lost or inactive accounts to re-establish partnerships and present product value.
Acquire in-depth knowledge of product lines effectively recommending technical solutions tailored to customer needs.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of sales activities and customer interactions using CRM systems.
Collaborate closely with internal teams particularly engineering and customer support to deliver optimal customer experiences.
Provide product demonstrations and technical support to existing and prospective clients addressing inquiries and concerns.
Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue goals and expand market presence.
Foster ongoing communication with key accounts to ensure long-term satisfaction and retention.
Participate in industry events trade shows and networking opportunities to promote products and services.
Stay current with industry trends and technological advancements relevant to client needs and business objectives.
Bachelors degree in business engineering or a related field is preferred though not required.
2 5 years of experience in account management technical sales application or design engineering or equivalent roles.
Experience with long-cycle sales projects is highly desirable.
Prior experience professional or hobbyist with engines and their components.
Familiarity with oil & gas equipment internal combustion engines or turbo-machinery is advantageous.
Proven ability to analyze technical requirements and recommend suitable product solutions.
Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
Strong technical aptitude and an ability to rapidly learn and apply product knowledge.
Proficiency with CRM platforms and sales tracking tools.
Excellent interpersonal relationship-building and presentation skills.
Strong organizational time-management and multi-account management abilities.
Effective problem-solving and analytical skills.
Approximately 35% travel required within North America to meet with clients attend events and build networks.
Hybrid work schedule: in-office presence required on specific days with remote flexibility.
Growth in new customer acquisitions and revenue from assigned accounts.
Accurate and consistent use of CRM for activity management.
Effective prospecting lead generation and opportunity development.
High levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Active engagement with outreach efforts and meetings related to business opportunities.
