Job Description

Job Title: Data Technical Architect
Location: New York NY / Tampa FL

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the architectural vision for end-to-end data automation.
  • Lead solution design for scalable data ingestion transformation validation and delivery.
  • Partner with stakeholders to align business needs with technical solutions.
  • Mentor teams on data quality engineering governance and best practices.
  • Lead tool strategy and customization for Data Quality Automation (e.g. Informatica DQ CA TDM custom frameworks).
  • Embed automated data quality gates into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Provide technical oversight for Big Data delivery hiring and assessments.
  • Hands-on prototyping with Advanced SQL Python PySpark and Big Data frameworks.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors/Masters in CS Engineering or related field.
  • 15 years in software/data engineering including 5 years in architect/lead roles.
  • Deep expertise in Big Data ecosystem: Spark Hadoop Kafka data lakes (Delta Lake Iceberg) and cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP).
  • Proven track record in data automation frameworks and data quality engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC DevOps CI/CD and ability to mentor teams.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
