Job Description
JOB TITLE: Aircraft inspector
LOCATION: Wichita KS
PAY RATE: $43/hour
We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary:
-
Use and interpret drawings inspection manuals specifications shop math precision measuring instruments and specialized inspection equipment
-
Follow Inspection (shop) procedures to accept or reject processes parts and assemblies
-
Verify that tools are qualified and maintain required certifications
-
Prepare and maintain quality records
-
Work across equivalent or lower-level Inspector job codes as needed
-
Apply Quality Management System policies and procedures
-
Understand company policies procedures and specifications
-
Maintain good communication (written and verbal) and computing skills
-
Demonstrate overall working knowledge of production processes
Requirements:
-
High school diploma or GED
-
5 years of aerospace airframe assembly inspection experience
-
Punctual and reliable
-
Ability to obtain and maintain all required training certifications
-
Available to work any shift (1st 2nd 3rd) and periods of heavy overtime
-
Blueprint reading experience
-
Proficient in MS Office and SAP
-
Experience writing NCRs (Tags)

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
