Job Description

The Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) trains doctors who put patients at the centre of their exemplary care. The School which offers both undergraduate and graduate programmes is named after local philanthropist Tan Sri Dato Lee Kong Chian. Established in 2010 by Nanyang Technological University Singapore in partnership with Imperial College London LKCMedicine aims to be a model for innovative medical education and a centre for transformative research. The Schools primary clinical partner is the National Healthcare Group a leader in public healthcare recognised for the quality of its medical expertise facilities and teaching. The School is transitioning to an NTU medical school ahead of the 2028 successful conclusion of the NTU-Imperial partnership to set up a Joint Medical August 2024 we welcomed our first intake of the NTU MBBS programme that has been recently enhanced to include themes like precision medicine and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in healthcare with an expanded scope in the medical humanities. Graduates from the five-year undergraduate medical degree programme will have a strong understanding of the scientific basis of medicine with an emphasis on technology data science and the humanities.

We seek a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our Education Management team as a Senior Executive Curriculum. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless executive of the Year 3 MBBS program specifically the Medicine and Surgery curriculum. The Senior Executive Curriculum will work closely with the School Leads different teams within the department and the various education offices in the healthcare training institutions to ensure seamless coordination in curriculum delivery on campus and in clinical posting training sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support for the Year 3 curriculum including Medicine and Surgery Enhanced Campus Based Learning (ECBL) Clinical Communication sessions and Wrap-up Week

  • Coordinate content experts and simulated patients including scenario confirmation and recruitment

  • Format upload and send Student Guides (Year 3) to the Leads education offices and students

  • Manage learning events for the whole academic year in Elentra including the attendance-taking learning events

  • Coordinate Medicine and Surgery clinical postings with hospital education offices for students

  • Provide logistical support for combined teaching sessions in Medicine and Surgery clinical postings

  • Oversee room booking for teaching spaces in the Eco Book

  • Assist in events organised by the team and department

Requirements:

  • A good University degree in any discipline

  • Candidates with prior experience in the education and/or healthcare sector are preferred

  • Experience in scheduling/timetabling will be an advantage

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills

  • Able to work independently under time pressure and changing deadlines/priorities in a dynamic environment

  • Able to multi-task and work on different portfolios and projects simultaneously

  • Analytical Meticulous and enjoy solving problems
