The Cognitive Neuroimaging Centre (CoNiC) is one of the NTUs strategic shared research facilities serving the NTU research community and other partnering institutions. It focuses on exploring the structure and functions of the
human brain with particular emphasis on both normal and pathological cognitive processes. Located in the Experimental Medicine Building on NTUs main campus CoNiC is equipped with state-of-the-art neuroimaging and brain monitoring technologies. These include a Siemens Prisma 3T MRI scanner a Siemens 0T mock scanner an Elekta Triux MEG system as well as EEG fNIRS TMS and other neuroimaging modalities.
As a strategic shared research facility CoNiC places strong emphasis on service quality operational excellence and scientific integrity. With growing demand and increasing complexity in neuroimaging research it continues to play a key role in advancing both basic and clinical research.
We seek a Research Fellow with strong hands-on expertise in designing and conducting neuroimaging experiments proficient in image processing and programming paradigms. The successful candidate will contribute to ongoing
multidisciplinary research and play an active role in developing novel methodologies and harmonising protocols across addition to supporting research projects the candidate will provide data analysis services to users
facilitate collaborations across disciplines and contribute to the continuous enhancement of CoNiCs shared facility capabilities. This role is critical to enabling high-impact collaborative neuroimaging research across NTU and external institutions while supporting the operational and scientific success of the centre. The role is based across both the Experimental Medicine Building (EMB) at NTUs main campus and the Clinical Sciences Building (CSB) at the Novena campus. Flexibility to work at either site depending on project and operational requirements is essential.

Apply programming skills in E-Prime MATLAB PsychoPy and Python for stimulus presentation and data analysis
Conduct statistical analysis using software such as SPSS R or Python to support data interpretation and research findings
Collaborate with and provide technical support to Principal Investigators in experimental design data processing and grant proposal development in consultation with the Assistant Director
Guide and mentor students (PhD URECA scholarly projects and attachments) and train staff in neuroimaging data acquisition and analysis
Contribute to CoNiCs mission by developing new methodologies harmonising protocols and implementing best practices across projects
Conduct independent research and publish findings in peer-reviewed scientific journals
Prepare technical documentation progress reports assist with grant applications and support patent-related submissions where applicable
Ensure quality assurance validation of analysis pipelines and compliance with safety and research standards
