Join the Data Strategy Engineering & Innovation team at the Alcon Digital Hub in Warsaw - our established center of excellence for delivering impactful solutions in data & analytics front-end engineering and digital innovation. Youll be part of a high-performing Analytics team that supports business functions with data-driven insights and tools.
About the Role
We are offeringTrainee/Junior position in our12-month Analytics Engineering Development Program designed to launch your career in the dynamic field of data and analytics. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about solving real-world business problems using data.
You will be assigned to theSupply Chain team where youll support ongoing analytics initiatives by maintaining and enhancing existing solutions fixing bugs and developing new tools based on stakeholder needs. Youll gain hands-on experience in data preparation ETL processes and data visualization using tools likeAlteryx AWS Tableau and Amazon QuickSight.

In this role a typical day will include:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.
- Support and enhance existing analytics tools by identifying and resolving bugs.
- Develop new data pipelines and dashboards tailored to business requirements.
- Participate in end-to-end analytics projects from data extraction to visualization.
- Work with tools such as Alteryx AWS Tableau and Amazon QuickSight.
- Analyze data from SAP and Salesforce to deliver actionable insights.
- Contribute to BI best practices and documentation.
WHAT YOULL BRING TO ALCON:
- Bachelors degree in Analytics Computer Science Economics or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Solid SQL skills for data manipulation and transformation.
- Basic understanding of data engineering or BI concepts.
- Familiarity with tools like Tableau QuickSight Alteryx or AWS is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Nice to have:
- Experience working withSAPorSalesforcedata.
- Knowledge of programming languages such asPythonorR.
- Interest or background inSupply Chainprocesses.
