Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Supervisor to join our finance team. The Accounting Supervisor will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations of the company ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and providing valuable insights to support decision-making processes.
Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Accountancy and a Certified Public Accountant
With at least 2 years of work experience as an Accounting Supervisoror in a similar role (Asst. Manager/Manager)
In-depth knowledge of accounting principles financial reporting and regulatory requirements.
Experience in top 5 audit or accounting firms and the business process outsourcing industry is an advantage
Proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze financial statements.
Ensure accuracy adherence to accounting principles and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes ensuring timely and accurate completion of financial activities reconciliations and adjustments.
Conduct a detailed financial analysis to identify trends variances and opportunities for improvement. Provide insights and recommendations to management for informed decision-making.
Collaborate with the finance team to develop annual budgets and forecasts. Monitor actual performance against budgets investigate variances and provide explanations and recommendations.
Ensure accurate and timely completion of tax filings including income tax returns sales tax returns and other regulatory requirements.
Assist with external audits by providing necessary documentation explanations and supporting schedules. Address audit queries and recommendations for process improvements.
Identify opportunities to streamline and automate financial processes. Implement changes to improve the efficiency accuracy and scalability of financial operations.
Performs other duties as may be assigned
