As a Senior Specialist Mass Spectrometry Services you are responsible for ensuring the optimal operation of mass spectrometers liquid chromatographs and other related analytical instruments. You will play a crucial role in the success of our operations and contribute to research efforts across the globe.
What will you do
Understand evaluate troubleshoot and resolve issues with LC-MS/MS and/or LC-ICP/MS systems and other bioanalytical equipment.
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance calibration and regular servicing of various bioanalytical instruments.
Keep maintenance records up to date in real time.
Order and restock consumables and manage inventory for spare parts related to LC and MS systems.
Provide prompt support to end users.
Conduct validations on equipment.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the Mass Spec Lab.
Collaborate with vendors and stay updated on the latest technological developments.
Offer regular training and refresher courses to staff.
Demonstrate effective teamwork.
Organize and perform work in a safe manner adhering to SOPs and GLP regulations.

Strong communication skills across all levels of operational staff with strong business-level English language skills needed (spoken reading and written English)
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment fostering positive relationships and contributing to shared goals.
Experience with troubleshooting and maintaining LC-MS/MS & LC-ICPMS systems and other bioanalytical laboratory instruments.
Mechanical aptitude.
Thorough understanding of biohazards and safety requirements.
Knowledge of GLPs and other regulatory and safety standards.
Education and Experience
A combination of relevant education and experience that equips you for success in this role such as:
A background or education in Analytical Chemistry Biochemistry Pharmaceutical Chemistry or Pharmacology is advantageous such as an HBO or MBO with 3-6 years of relevant industry experience.
Experience in either a bioanalytical CRO or one of the Mass Spec equipment manufacturers is an advantage.
Experience in a regulated laboratory environment is preferred.
