Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic financial planning budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Ensure accurate timely financial and regulatory reporting in compliance with statutory requirements.
- Drive end-to-end financial controls tax planning and risk management.
- Partner with business units for cost control profitability analysis and performance management.
- Provide financial insights and decision support to senior leadership and board.
- Lead coach and develop a team of 23 professionals driving performance excellence engagement and a strong culture of accountability.
- Lead and oversee key finance-driven and cross-functional projects-including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) upgrades e-Invoice SST compliance and M&A activities-while providing financial oversight on broader business initiatives to ensure effective cost tracking regulatory compliance and return on investment (ROI) analysis.
- Champion financial transformation system enhancements and process improvements.
- Able to communicate well with regulators external auditors and tax agents.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting Finance or equivalent.
- Professional certificate (i.e. CPA ACCA CIMA) is required.
- At least 10 of finance experience with 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Solid understanding of financial reporting standards (e.g. MRFS/IFRS) and local regulatory requirements (e.g. BNM tax).
- Strong project management stakeholder engagement and governance capabilities are essential.
- Experience in financial services banking or regulated industry is preferred.
