Join our Heating & Refrigeration Technologies Team in Mexico and support us as an HRT Service Sales Engineer.
Responsibilities / Tasks
- Develop the service sales strategy and ensure a CREATE-GEA approach to customers within the country (cooperation with Head of Service)
- Identifying opportunities for service sales
- Actively managing key customer accounts
- Operate in partnership with equipment of New Machines sales engineers to identify up-sell and cross-sell opportunities to maximize revenue and improve overall customer experience.
- Manage individual day to day activities with possible responsibility for multiple product groups / application clusters to ensure consistent approach and optimized performance
- Continuous optimization of processes and structure (strategy methods tools personnel development etc.) and related key figures.
- Find new ways to improve customer satisfaction
- Work with country Head of Service and Head of Sales to fine-tune service sales strategy
- Coordinate development of service sales strategy within Cluster
- Lead service sales activities within defined product group or application cluster allocate resources and prioritize initiatives (Heating and Refrigeration)
- In collaboration with country head of service agree on annual service sales budget.
- Coordinate service sales planning forecasting and reporting
- Ensure employee engagement by effectively communicating service sales strategy and vision
- Work together with country heads of sales to ensure coordinated sales approach.
Your Profile / Qualifications
The Service Sales Engineer is responsible for developing promoting and selling the complete range of GEA service specially of HRT (Heating & Refrigeration Technologies) division within the assigned product group or application cluster in the country.
- Bachelors degree preferably in an engineering discipline (electronic mechanical etc.)
- Have industrial refrigeration knowledge about the full refrigeration cycle.
- Experience in working with ammonia (CO2) and F-gasses.
- Sales of: Spare part Service contracts (SLAs) Field Service (preventive corrective and predictive) and Retrofit projects.
- The Service Sales engineer must be able to advice customers what service must be done to the refrigeration installation.
- Required languages: English
- Excellent communicator written and verbal able to work with individuals (internal and external) across a wide range of levels functions brands and cultures
- Prioritizes customer needs establishes effective relationships with customers as well as internal stakeholders
- The ability to exert influence on his / her customers by conviction persuasion and negotiation
- Can implement delegated tasks effectively whilst maintaining involvement and responsibility for outcomes.
- The ability to gain high levels of trust from customers and to predict customer and competitor actions.
- Familiarity with GEA service offerings and local market requirements of different customer groups.
