Lead all aspects of local plant optimization deployment and the execution of its methodology in alignment with Global Regional strategies and tactics and Site objectives. Drive the foundational aspects while installing the pillars per implementation plan while ensuring One Goodyear Way.
Drive People & Environmental Care as a value and build a culture of Zero Loss while ensuring One Goodyear Way.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide direction and support the Plant Leadership Team on building the Plant pillar teams on all activities. Act as key member of the Business Center Steering Team and report to the local PO Sr manager.
Lead Business Center Steering committee meeting (business center level) to ensure alignment and progress. Ensures plant / business team pillars stays on plan. Report results to Management. Maintain Business team KPIs. Capture and communicate lessons learned.
Educate and Coach the organization on Plant Optimization. Provides the environment to learn by doing and develop the framework for collaborative learning. Identify pitfalls and roadblocks. Create an environment of open sharing between Business Team.
Participate in all pillars processes. Attend Business Team leadership team meetings and steering meeting as required. Assist education and communication progress to the site. Become the expert of all the pillars methodology while developing his/her own successor.
Follow One Goodyear Way to ensure standardization across the company. Communicate best practice and Benchmark with other plants.
Provide Regional and Global Plant Optimization Leaders updates on status of implementation & potential issues/roadblocks.
Education:
Requerido: Technical University Degree at the Master of Science-level Production Engineering Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering
TPM Certified.
Deseada: Advanced Technical Degree or MBA.
Experience:
Manufacturing experience of 5 years or Application of TPM Methodology experience. Experience in driving and implement continuous improvement methodologies and tools. Working knowledge and/or experience in implementation of lean.
Knowledge:
TPM Certified.
Knowledge of tools used in Lean (5S PULL SYSTEMS KAIZEN Events SMED DMAIC And all TPM Pillars).
Ability to direct cross-functional working groups
