Your New Role:
This position exists to support the Procure to Pay (PTP) workstream of Warner Bros. Discovery WBD. This person will have overall responsibility for performing PTP functions involved in maintaining the processes ensuring Sox compliance maintaining a robust controls environment providing updates/reporting of overall Procure to Pay Operations. The position needs to excel in Customer satisfaction acting as One Team with the business and other PTP functions dreaming and owning its deliverables embracing continuous learning approach.
Your Role Accountabilities:
- Deliver world class / proactive customer service to internal and external stakeholders while adhering to company policies and procedures
- Support PTP processes to ensure operational success (i.e. vendor creation is timely invoices match to POs correctly invoices route to the appropriate coders etc.)
- Monitor and reconcile aging PTP activity including interfacing applications
- Support integration and onboarding of new acquisitions into Warner Bros. Discovery processes and systems
- Support PTP system changes improvements and new company codes created with testing as required and support new business projects acquisitions and integrations where needed
- Serve as a subject matter expert in PTP processes & technologies (SAP SRM Ariba OpenText VIM SAP ECC) for non-content spend.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience in Procure to Pay process (1-3 years in Accounts Payable is preferred). Experience in the Media Industry and/or Media Sales (as a plus)
- Education: Bachelors degree in accounting or finance or related field
- Language Requirements: English (intermediate) Spanish (Native)
- Technical Skills: A working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (XLS Outlook Word PowerPoint). SAP experience is preferred (People Soft Financials as a plus)
- Relationship Management: Proven experience on internal and external query management related to Supplier accounts payable
- Process Management: Should have a complete understanding of the Procure to Pay process and working experience with Ticketing tools SLAs
- Organizational Skills: Ability to work independently creatively and efficiently. Proven track record in meeting deadlines
- Communication: Strong listening verbal and written communication skills
- Global Perspective: Experience working in Shared Services is a plus
