QA engineer (automation manual)

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a vital member of our expanding QA team you will be responsible for both automated and manual testing to ensure the stability and performance of our payment infrastructure.
This hybrid position includes designing and maintaining test frameworks executing diverse testing strategies identifying and troubleshooting issues and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
You will work closely with engineers and product managers to define and maintain quality standards throughout the entire development lifecycle.
Experience and Qualifications
25 years of hands-on experience in software testing automation or development.
Proficiency in at least one programming language such as TypeScript JavaScript Python or Ruby.
Practical experience with automation tools like Playwright Selenium etc.
Solid understanding of testing techniques (unit integration end-to-end).
Proven ability to write and execute both automated and manual test plans.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and integrating test automation.
Ability to work independently in dynamic environments with a proactive mindset.
Strong communication and debugging skills.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Experience testing multilingual applications or mobile apps.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS) observability tools (e.g. Datadog) or performance testing frameworks.
Exposure to backend services APIs or system infrastructure.
Background in agile development or fast-paced startup settings.
Contributions to open-source initiatives.
