Job Summary
A fast growing and ambitious Accounting Audit & Tax practice based in South/ Central are currently looking to recruit an experienced and career focused accountant to join the team on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to progress very quickly within the firm. Reporting to and working closely with the Partner the role will involve:
Managing a portfolio of clients which will include the following:
Required Education Skills and Qualifications
Ideally candidates will have familiarity with the following software packages:
- Relate accounts production & Drive
- Receipt bank/Autoentry/Sage/Surf/Quickbooks/Xero
- Thesaurus payroll
- Core & Ros essential
Candidates that can demonstrate strong commercial acumen awareness will have a distinct advantage.

- Assisting with the preparation of financial statements for SME businesses
- Assisting with the preparation of audit and audit exempt files to monitoring review standard
- Bookkeeping & payroll
- Preparing Vat returns
- Assisting with company formations and new business tax registrations
- Preparing income tax and corporation tax returns
- Filing Companies Registration Office returns
- Management accounts
- Projections loan applications & grant applications
- Supervision and mentoring of other staff
