Senior Merchandiser (Hardgoods)

Explore an exceptional opportunity with our client where they are a global market leader of international discount retailer chain. They are currently looking for an outstanding Senior Merchandiser (Hardgoods) to join the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Manager with end-to-end sourcing tasks.
  • Prepare and ensure all tender and contract documents are accurate and complete.
  • Finalize submission comparisons and identify preferred options according to company guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with various internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations process.
  • Monitor the production process and liaise with vendors/suppliers directly for all purchased products
  • Visit trade fairs and suppliers to expand and develop the supplier network in the commodity area.
  • Provide support for team members and help train employees and trainees from other departments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in Merchandising preferably working with General Hardgoods products.
  • Strong proficiency in English Cantonese and Mandarin
  • Strong analytical communication and teamwork skills.
  • Keen attention to detail along with excellent organizational coordination and planning skills.
