Job Description
The ACE engine aims to provide holistic alerts generation and delivery system for the post trade and real-time risk/monitoring plant as well as standardize the integration between the critical low-latency trading path and post execution plant.
The team implements manages and operates modern platform for High Availability and Resiliency modern Observability Configuration Authentication and Logging.
We are seeking a hands-on server-side Java developer with track-record of building large scale distributed systems.
We provide the great opportunities to solve problems like :
* Low-latency distributed plants for large volume of real-time trading alerts
* Elastic capacity for large/bursting volume of alerts
* Design capability to go from on-prem to cloud based resources and boost the time to market for new features
* Utilizing cutting-edge new technologies like Kubernetes Kafka RocksDB MongoDB Memsql Prometheus Tempo KDB/Q and Snowflake. The team encourages open communication new technologies and thinking out of box.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Design and implement high-performance messaging middleware/framework
* Design and implement resiliency in applications using the framework and platform
* Improve the SDLC testing configuration and Dev experience with shift-left approach
Qualifications:
* 5 or more years of work experience with Java and distributed systems
* Strong hands-on core Java programming skills & Stream processing systems
* Hands-on knowledge in distributed system (for example messaging middleware databases and networking)
* Good communication skill and leadership in development
* Hands-on knowledge in Python is a big plus
* Knowledge in Kubernetes/DevOps/Cloud computing is a plus
