Automotive software V&V (Validation & Verification) team is responsible for development of infrastructure to test wide range of low-level embedded software for the latest portfolio of NXP microprocessor and microcontroller products. The software V&V team has more than 15 years of experience with development of complex test infrastructures including custom test benches for domain specific use cases. Large number of tests and requirement to run most of the tests on a final NXP hardware is supported by highly skilled team covering multiple domains including continuous integration continuous delivery cluster computing test & measurement and industrial automation. Variety of software and hardware tools from brand names including National Instruments Pickering Keysight Vector GPEL and others are leveraged to provide industry leading test solutions for our embedded NXP software products.
As an intern youll contribute to the development of a web-based board farm management system used for remote execution and automation of automotive software tests.

You will have the occasion to get in contact with different NXP Automotive teams (solution teams customers engineers) give feedback and propose solutions.
Your responsibilities:
Assist in the design and development of web front-end and back-end components for a board farm management system
Help implement user interfaces for managing test equipment
Contribute to the development of RESTful APIs and backend services to support remote access and automation
Support the integration of real-time data visualization and logging features
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements test features and improve usability
Your profile:
Basic knowledge of Python and object-oriented programming
Interest in web development technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript Flask Django or similar frameworks)
Familiarity with REST APIs databases (e.g. SQLite PostgreSQL) and basic UI/UX principles
Exposure to Linux and Windows environments
Interest in network protocols (TCP/IP SSH HTTPS); experience with socket programming is a plus
Willingness to learn about automotive testing environments and embedded systems
Fluent English communication skills.
