Job Description
CK Group is recruiting for a Lab technician to join a leading global food brand company on a contract basis for 6 months.
Salary: Paying 13.30 per hour PAYE

It is essential that applicants hold entitlement to work in the UK

Salary: Paying 13.30 per hour PAYE
Lab technician role:
- Junior Technician working in the sample prep team
- The work involves testing for allergens in food samples
- Use ELISA and PCR testing
- General day to day tasks include:
- Homogenisation
- Weighing samples
- Washing the blenders
- Admin and housekeeping e.g. sample disposal and calibrating pipettes
Your Background:
- Basic experience of work in a lab environment 6 - 12 months experience)
- A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career
- Experience of working in a team and independently
- Experience of maintaining lab equipment to ensure they are always operable
- Able to record and report data and activity outcomes accurately
