Your future role:
Alstom Australia is proud to build the Xtrapolis 2.0 Train project. The new XTrapolis 2.0 trains will provide more reliable journeys better passenger information and improved accessibility energy efficiency and comfort.
Reporting directly to the Train Validation Manager the Train Manager serves as the primary liaison between the Customer team and the internal team. Initially stationed at Williams St and Ballarat with subsequent relocation to Newport this position will predominantly involve night shifts during the testing phase. Alstom is seeking a dedicated and safety-focused Train Manager to oversee the preparation readiness and safe operation of trains during dynamic and static testing phases. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with EHS standards and supporting the successful execution of rolling stock validation activities. This is a 12 month fixed term contract.
