Purpose Statement: The Logistics - Analyst II is responsible for supporting logistics operational excellence and solutions that reduce transport costs for Plexus manufacturing sites by actively participating in logistics initiatives that ensure efficient product movement both internationally and domestically.
Key Job Accountabilities:
- Analyze transport analysis activities that drive operational changes that reduce transport cost including but not limited managing routing guide compliance minimizing premium freight usage better utilization of equipment optimal mode selection and analysis of alternative routing methods.
- Coordinate with Regional/Site stakeholders suppliers and logistics service providers to track and expedite shipment to ensure on-time fulfillment and supporting the creation and reconciliation of accurate material overhead (MOH) model for new and existing customers.
- Support development and delivery of metrics / KPIs / dashboards and review and validate freight bills from Logistics Service Providers to ensure accurate billing and payments.
- Draft and update logistics-related standard operating procedures work instructions process mapping and other governance documents as well as conduct relevant training for internal groups.
- Support Customs & Trade Management and ESG activities as necessary.
Education/Experience Qualifications:
- Typically requires a Bachelors degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience as EXPORT ANALYST.
