Job Description
Cloninger Ford of Morganton is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Automotive Detailer to join our service team. This position plays a key role in the preparation and presentation of both new and pre-owned vehicles. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work and have a strong eye for cleanliness finishing and efficiency.
Job Type & Schedule
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: 5 Days a week (Saturdays included)
Work Requirements:
Work Schedule: 8-hour shifts
Ability to Commute: Morganton NC (Required)
Work Location: In person
Responsibilities
Thoroughly clean and detail the interior and exterior of new and used vehicles
Perform vehicle washes waxing polishing vacuuming window cleaning and tire dressing
Inspect finished vehicles to ensure quality and cleanliness standards are met
Identify and report any cosmetic issues to the service or reconditioning team
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the detail area and equipment
Follow all safety and chemical handling procedures
Support the dealership in preparing vehicles for showroom delivery or lot display
Qualifications
Previous automotive detail experience preferred
Must be dependable punctual and take pride in work quality
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Strong attention to detail and consistency
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
