Job Description
International autmotive supplier has immediate need for a Payroll Manager from a large corporation--must have SAP background.
Summary
We are seeking a skilled Payroll Manager to join our team in the this pivotal role you will oversee payroll operations ensuring accuracy and compliance while contributing to our commitment to integrity and excellence in the automotive industry.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for all employees
- Ensure compliance with federal state and local payroll regulations
- Collaborate with our Plant HR departments to maintain accurate employee payroll records
- Prepare payroll reports for leadership review
- Address payroll inquiries from employees and from our facilities/plants promptly and accurately.
- Implement improvements in payroll processes for efficiency
- Coordinate with finance for accurate accounting of payroll expenses
- Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
- Proven experience in payroll management
- Proficiency in payroll software(SAP EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED)
- Strong understanding of federal and state payroll regulations
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Knowledge of HRIS systems is a plus
- Strong communication skills
- Would prefer (not required) someone who has worked at a similar size company in a manufacturing company and has used SAP to process payroll
We are looking for someone who has a passion for payroll someone who enjoys what they do gets excited about their work and company someone customer oriented as they are the contact teacher and all around go to person for all our plants when it comes to payroll.
This is a working position not just managing a staff we are looking for someone who likes to roll up their sleeves and produce success!!
