We are seeking a motivated professional with a legal background or experience to join our highly successful Nordic Marine & Energy team. If you have experience in contract analysis within the insurance or maritime sector we want to hear from you!

About the Role:
In this dynamic position you will leverage your legal expertise to assess risks review contractual documents and help clients navigate the complex evolving landscape of risk and insurance working with both domestic and international clients.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • A legal professional with experience in contract analysis insurance maritime law and/or risk management

  • Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail and compliance

  • Outgoing proactive and solution-oriented

  • Passionate about solving current and future challenges faced by clients in the energy and marine industry

Personal characteristics:

  • Have an interest in the marine and energy industry.

  • Passionate about collaboration as a means to generate business results.

  • Pragmatic and goal-oriented approach with a focus on problem solving.

  • Systematic and well organized and keep clear priorities and deadlines.

  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

  • Occasional travel is to be expected.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with contract analysis and risk review.

  • 5 years experience or more in the insurance market and/or in the shipping offshore and/or marine insurance industry

  • Familiar with the international energy marine and/or insurance market.

  • Strong communicative skills in both Norwegian and English (the business language is primarily English).
