Ottawa Public Library (OPL) provides accessible innovative library and information services throughout the City of Ottawa that meet the unique needs of diverse communities delivered through facility mobile and virtual channels.
You are responsible for supporting the planning and coordination of food retail and event services at diske; including contributing to the design and operations of the retail space (gift shop). You also maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders representing OPL interests and liaising with Library and Archives Canada (LAC) to ensure joint alignment.
You support OPLs strategic objectives through collaborative program design project coordination and business planning particularly for contracted services and financial performance related to hospitality and events.
Completion of a 3-year college or university degree in hospitality and tourism management business administration or a related field.
3 years of relevant experience in hospitality services retail or customer service environments.
