Job Description
Rugby Architectural Building Products is a wholesale distributor of specialty building products operating out of 26 branches throughout the United States. Our primary business is non-structural architectural grade building products sold principally to customers who create and produce end-products for the commercial industrial retail residential and institutional markets. (In New Century KS Lebanon TN and Rockford IL we do business as: Olathe Millworks Warren Brother Sash & Door River City Millworks respectfully.)
Description
River City Millwork is growing. We are seeking a Door Shop Fabricator. The Door Shop Fabricator is responsible for fabrication of interior and exterior doors and door frames. This position reports to the Door Shop supervisor.

Who We Are Looking For:
- Passionate and experienced individual with 1-2 years of experience.
- Carpentry Experience is preferred but not required.
- An individual who will be highly quality- minded in all job functions.
- Strength in focus-tasking and handling multiple projects and assignments.
- A diverse candidate who can check and manage incoming products to verify material against work orders noting and reporting any discrepancies or damage.
- A motivated employee who can communicate with other branch employees to solve fabrication issues. Work as part of a team.
- Accommodating individual who is willing and able to locate and stage material for production.
- A history of great work attendance.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
What You Will Do:
- Fabrication of interior and exterior doors and door frames at the branch with high quality and safe practices.
- The ability to safely operate table saws routers chop saws and nail guns
- Ensure that material for production matches work order documents and that the products are in good condition.
- Maintain the door shop in a clean orderly and safe manner.
- Assist in taking inventory as required on a regular basis.
- Work safely attend safety meetings and follow all safety procedures and policies.
- Be able to lift and carry products from 75-100 lbs. weight with a helper.
- The functions of this position may be exposed to modest amounts of heat dust fumes and noise.
- Must be able to maintain a high level of frequency and intensity in other physical activities such as reaching standing walking lifting carrying pushing pulling stooping kneeling and crouching.
- Must have good visual acuity depth perception color vision and peripheral vision.
- The applicant will be required to work inside with probable heat and humidity depending on the season and location.
