Are you a technically skilled engineer with a passion for mechatronics and innovation in automotive systems

We are looking for a Development Engineer to join our team where youll combine technical leadership with project coordination. This is a unique opportunity within Garrett offering hands-on engineering experience while managing supplier development and supporting customer teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with suppliers on development changes and validation of components
  • Managing project timelines and ensuring key milestones are met
  • Maintaining and updating technical documentation
  • Communicating with suppliers and internal teams in English
  • Supporting customer and core teams with issue resolution and product integration
  • Participating in cross-functional meetings and international collaboration


You will fit into the team with this profile:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Mechatronics or a related technical field
  • 25 years of experience in mechatronics (preferably in automotive or industrial applications)
  • Advanced English proficiency (daily use in technical discussions and documentation)
  • Experience with automotive development processes advantage
  • Familiarity with project management and supplier coordination
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and shifting priorities
  • A learning mindset eager to adapt and apply new technologies quickly
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently

You will need solid understanding of:

  • Electrical circuits and Ohms Law
  • Electromotors and power electronics for motor control
  • Sensor technologies and their limitations
