Your Tasks
Role Purpose
Finance Business Partner with commercial team and supply chain to drive business growth and efficiency as well as financial controlling and reporting for Malaysia & Singapore business
Key Accountabilities
Sales Controlling
- Business partner for Sales S&CM and E-Com teams on customer strategies and performance evaluation.
- Partnering with Commercial team & Supply Chain in weekly in market sales net sales & distributor stock steering by brand to Forecast.
- Perform monthly review with Sales teams on channel profitability to focus on trade investment efficiency and provide recommendation/feedback.
- Analyze on trade inventory vs Sales Team forecast to ensure healthy retailers stockholding.
- Support manager to review pricing structures to support profitable growth & implement efficient approval and maintenance processes.
- Support manager to monitor Distributor margin & performance and identify financial impact.
- Partnering with commercial team to perform return on investment appraisal on trade campaign promotions and trade costs.
FP&A
- Support manager to drive robust forecasting and budgeting processes and establish alignment with cross functional teams.
- Marketing budget steering of S&CM & E-Com teams ensuring spend discipline & generating efficiencies.
- Net Sales trade investment distribution cost and gross margin review in all budget or forecast cycles as well as monthly closing process including accrual & provision management for trade & marketing spend.
- Preparation of global regional and management reporting accurately on timely basis.
- Partnering with Regional Centers of Excellence in product costing review to improve cost efficiency.
- Close collaboration with partnering Finance functions including Regional Centers of Excellence for Marketing & Supply Chain Controlling
S&OP
- Active participation in Sales & Operation Planning Process.
- Translation of S&OP into Financial Forecasts plans simulation and risks & opportunities.
- Together with Sales & Supply chain to monitor closely on trade & distributor stock health.
Others
- To perform ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time.
Your Profile
Key Requirements
- Degree in Accounting Business or equivalent
- 4 to 5 years of work experiences (preferably MNC FMCG)
- Strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Results-oriented thrives under pressure and able to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Fluent in English (oral and written); proficiency in Malay and Chinese is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong leadership with a high level of initiative accountability and ownership.
- Effective in planning time management presentation negotiation and project coordination.
- Clear persuasive communicator across functions.
- Highly motivated adaptable and demonstrates a can-do attitude.
- Awareness and interest in current trends and business environment.
