Job Responsibilities
- Contributing to the formulation of ALM strategies policies and procedures.
- Managing stakeholder interactions and collaborating with the Operations Risk and Finance departments.
- Cultivating and maintaining a strong relationship with the BOT.
- Ensuring compliance with Basel III and local banking regulations.
- Planning and oversaw asset allocation and curve positioning for the Global Markets Bangkok branch.
- Handling daily money market operations.
- Supporting the internal team with quotes for the money market and FX transactions.
- Preparing and presenting market analysis and updates to management.
- Finding ways to reduce funding costs for the branch.
- Assisting in managing the branchs liquidity and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal guidelines.
- Ensuring the branch has sufficient funding for its operational needs.
- Overseeing FTP positions and leverage gapping opportunities.
- Helping manage the investment portfolio and associated hedges to maximize returns.
- Assessing and managing NPAP to develop and launch new Treasury solutions/products for clients.
- Administering and approving KYC/CDD processes for counterparties/NBFI clients of Global Markets Bangkok including account setup and name checks.
Job Requirements
- A Bachelors degree in Finance Business engineering or a related field.
- Familiarity with BOT regulations on Treasury operations.
- At least 10 years of experience in trading or dealing with money market instruments such as interbank placements government securities and swaps.
