Dow has an opportunity for Marketing Development Manager. The successful candidate will develop our key markets in the region by generating demand at the front of our value chains for our unique technologies and high-value products and order to this the person will need to work with the value chain establish close relations with end-users to identify opportunities build new business models and generate change in the way they buy products. The person will support new product introduction in the region customer events and overall he/she will need to drive a value-mindset across the organization. The MDM will work closely with marketing managers sales director account teams sustainability manager and business communications.
Responsibilities:
Build a strategy for the region by consolidating the individual market strategies with regional needs.
Identify key Brand Owners and Convertors to create and implement an engagement plan.
Perform market maps and assessments.
Build and manage demand generation projects in-line with our market strategies and engagement plan.
Develop new business models application packages and sales tools to support the introduction of new technologies.
Present projects to the Innovation Council for discussion and approval.
Work with the regional commercial to track and support new product introduction.
Support the coordination of external events in the region to drive lead generation and advocacy.
Represent Dow at key associations and build an agenda with key external stakeholders.
Minimum understanding of B2B Marketing Foundations Marketing Analytics Marketing Competitive Research Communications Customer Centricity and Journey and Value Chain comprehension.
Good breadth of knowledge of local market dynamics economic environment technical and organizational aspects of the business.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree: preferred Engineering Business or Marketing related majors.
A minimum of 10 years of commercial or technical experience.
Commercial or technical experience within areas related to packaging and/or plastics.
Strong marketing competency with segmentation stage-gate processes voice of customer market blueprinting tail analysis.
Languages: English (advanced) in both verbal and written communications.
Desirable:
