Flux Power is a fast-paced high-growth (40% YoY) publicly traded company (NASDAQ: FLUX) that is leading the adoption of lithium-ion technology solutions. We design manufacture and sell advanced lithium-ion battery packs that are disrupting the 100 year old market for lead acid batteries. Our battery packs are used to power industrial and commercial equipment like forklifts and airport ground support equipment as well as new applications like solar-powered EV charging stations.
About the Role
We are looking for Assembly Technicians. Position is full-time 40-hours a week; overtime as needed including weekends may be required. Travel up to 25% may be required; as well. We are looking to fill openings on first and second shifts.
** This is a temp-to-hire position initially payrolled through a staffing agency. **
What you Will be Doing
Assemble parts or units and position align and fasten units to assemblies subassemblies or frames using hand tools and power tools
Fasten cables and wiring
Perform basic functional test of completed assembly
Rework of non- conforming production assemblies
Maintain assembly production record
Perform routine daily cleanup
Other duties as required.
What you Will Need
HS Diploma GED or equivalent work experience
Lite manufacturing assembly
Knowledge of hand and power tools used in assembly
Training in maintenance repair machinery operation assembly etc. a strong plus
Self-starter and ability to suggest solutions when problems arise
Physical Conditions/Requirements
Job frequently requires sitting and handling objects with hands
Job requires standing walking bending reaching talking hearing and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds
Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print
