Job Title: Product Manager Interconnect Segment

Main Purpose:

To provide technical promotion/ support for products represented & distributed by Unified to our clients

To create value for Unified Product Basket with the objective of increasing market share and revenue in your defined territory.

Reporting To: Director

Key responsibilities

  • Develop strong and effective working relationships with the OEMs and visit/meet them regularly.
  • Responsible for achieving Product line wise targets and targeted GP$ achievement
  • Responsible for team efforts to promote products in coordination with FAE Team
  • An Interface between the organizations technical application/sales team and the customer and OEMs
  • Mentoring and training Field Application Engineers on Products and Market Promotion
  • Responsible for NBOs in line with OEMs promotion plan for the region.
  • Generate the new business lead for new products and segments by visiting top customers in the region.
  • Increase the sales win ratio vs quotes raised involve directly for all important quotations (say > 10k $/Enquiry /Tender)
  • Post Purchase Order Influence the OEMs on GP % improvement.
  • Effectively manage inventories ensure no blocking pushouts for high-value stock and negotiate with OEMs for returns.
  • Manage the back-end team like sales coordinators for Quote Management Margin handling & communication with customers and OEMs.
  • Support sales team on major PO conversion and deal closures.
  • Work on transfer business with OEMs concerning TAM to DTM conversion EMS transfer business and from the competitor.
  • Have a highly interactive repo with OEM to negotiate on Credit Terms and Credit Limits.
  • Proactively working on adding supplement/complement product lines.
  • Having healthy interaction with the Purchase process team Sales process team Wearhouse and Finance Team.
  • Work on supplier forecast in alignment with Sales and Back-end Team.

Travel 40% - 60% of your office time.

Qualifications/ Skills:

Proven experience as Product Manager handling big OEMs

5-8 years experience in Product Marketing or Business Development Manager

Requires in-depth knowledge and experience

Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions

Works independently; receives minimal guidance

Engineering Graduation in circuit branches MBA is desirable

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organisational levels

Strong communicator (verbal & written) and good negotiator

Great knowledge of MS Excel PowerPoint and any CRM software like Zoho/ERP next
