Salary Range:Commencing from $68051.36 (Grade 7 step 1 including Level 2 Adverse Working Conditions Allowance) plus 12% superannuation equals total salary package of $76218.00.
The successful candidate will have access to step increases for the grade based on competency assessment and tenure within this position.

The area of the Council comprises approximately 14 square kilometres and has an estimated population of 46000 residents which is growing at 2.5-3% annually. Based on NSW Government projections the population will increase to over 60000 by 2041.
About the Opportunity
Strathfield Council is seeking a reliable and skilled Street Sweeping Plant Operator for a new position within a new team.
The position is a hands-on role responsible for delivering high-quality street sweeping services across the Municipality ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely. It involves operating equipment in line with safety protocols identifying and addressing risks and maintaining safe working conditions.
The role requires strong teamwork and communication respectful customer interactions and upholding the Councils professional standards.
