About the Role:
This position is responsible for purchasing materials equipment supplies services with the Contract Manufacturer. Monitor suppliers commits over-shipments cancellations and engineering changes. Work is performed without appreciable direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment.
Much of the role is administrative that require Excel files review to align with system data manual PO creations in Oracle to launch to the Contract Manufacturer. Check and balance to assure accuracy between Contract Manufacturing and Oracle on POs placed pricing and commits.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for MRP execution to include timely order placement expedites cancels and defers and ensures that system generated and manual requirements are aligned in MRP or manual planning.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Competencies:
- Related work experience preferred educational qualification bachelors degree preferred but not necessarily as this is a temporary position.
- Skilled in Office products with advanced working knowledge of Excel
- Oracle experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Extremely organized and detailed oriented with excellent follow-up
- MRP and Supply Chain knowledge is an advantage
