We are looking for a dedicated person who wants to develop software applications for E-business initiatives. You will be building enhancements and maintaining our current e-commerce systems and web services in a collaborative and evolving environment. Youll also be contributing to the migration of our existing solutions to new cloud microservices using updated technologies to delight our customers and facilitate their operations in our e-commerce platforms.
What will you do
- Responsible among other team members for the design development testing deployment and maintenance of systems and applications.
- Participate in the implementation automated unit and integration testing code reviews debugging and integration of code of complexity across multiple concurrent projects.
- Follow good software security and DevOps practices during execution.
- Identify document and implement internal improvements to contribute to the delivery scalability and performance of our platforms.
- Participate in on-call rotation to address critical operational incidents and business requests.
- Collaborate with other team members product owner scrum master other supporting roles and stakeholders to better support organizational goals and our customers.
How will you get here
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering Systems Engineering Information Technology or other technical areas.
- 1 years of relevant software development experience
- Understanding of object-oriented design and programming.
- Motivated to build world-class software solutions that improve lives preferably using Java Spring boot framework and Kotlin.
- Experience with front-end technologies and languages: JavaScript or Typescript JQuery CSS HTML and optional experience with front-end frameworks like React or Angular.
- Web Service design experience: REST APIs and authentication or SOAP Request/Response handling
- Hands-on experience with relational (Postgres) and non-relational databases (Dynamo)
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
Nice to have:
- Some experience with CI/CD using Jenkins and GitHub
- Some experience with unit testing integration testing and end-to-end testing
- Exposure to the most common Enterprise Integration Patterns and their implementation using for example Open Source Apache Camel (Integration and Routing Engine software)
- Exposure to applications that use message broker/queue related asynchronous technologies (transmit and consume XMLs/JSONs) like Apache Kafka IBM MQ or RabbitMQ.
- Experience with Elasticsearch or OpenSearch search engines
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker containers
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Azure experience or certifications.
- Experience working within a
- Agile software development team (SAFe / Scrum)
